Lets at T-mobile G1 to the List
Yesterday I made a post comparing the Iphone Cost to the Palm Pre costs, and then even added in the Blackberry Storm. Well I don’t knwo how I forgot it, but what about the t-mobile Android G1 smart phone! So here are the results for the G1 for totalt cost of ownership:

I really like the Android Operating system and am thinking it its going to get really really good when Google really integrates Google voice with it.

Smartphone Cost: Iphone vs Pre vs Storm
The Palm Pre came out the other day while the Apple Iphone 3GS came out today so let the million of pointless head to head blog posts comparing the Pre over the Iphone and vice versa so of course I have to jump on the band wagon and write a comparing blog post so I am not the only blog on the internet not writing a post comparing the Pre and the new Iphone.
So Since I dont own either and am not really inclined to go overly nuts researching loads and loads of information I just decided to try and find which one would cost more, so instread of boring you with many more words here are two pictures that speak fore themselves:

Info thanks to Bill Shrink. So click that Bill Shrink Link if you want to try it yourself. I will try to maybe update this post to add my Blackberry Storm but maybe I dont want to see it on the cost line with these phones….
Updated: So I took the time to add the Blackberry Storm to. Yea I really love all my readers…or just bored

I few days ago I posted that I would be watching engadget because they so simply put the times for everyone around the different coasts etc. But I do want to throw out there if you want to watch updates on your iphone or blackberry I would check out Mac Rumors Live website because when I checked it out on my blackberry storm it rendered the page nicley to fit.So if you want to watch the conference updates live on your smartphone check out Mac Rumours Live here.

Why I will watch MAC Developer conference via Engaget
Tomorrow will be the Mac Developer conference and many people will be going to many different websites for live blog updates to watch what new iphone shinanagins Apple will be releasing.
Out of all the blogs tomorrow I think I am goign to watch the live updates via Engaget here. I picked them for one simple reason other then the fact they are a great source for news. The reason what made me choose them was the fact that they listed the times on their blog for when everyone can watch it in our prospective time zones for the conference:
07:00AM – Hawaii
10:00AM – Pacific
11:00AM – Mountain
12:00PM – Central
01:00PM – Eastern
06:00PM – London
07:00PM – Paris
02:00AM – Tokyo (June 9th)
I liked this because they usually just say what the time is in one time zone and although its not hard, its just nice to have it already done easily. Shows great kindness to their readers.

Apple Jumping into the Netbook Market?
The buzz recently has been about if Apple should jump into the netbook market, that seems to be growing with computers form all the major computer companies these days. Some could actually argue that the Macbook air in essence is a netbook due to its small size and easy mobility, and if that were the case, then Apple is actually responsible for the netbook. But it seems the term netbook has become much more then just portability. Netbooks now seems to mean portability and cheap, being a laptop less then $500.

Help Get Itunes On linux
This may probably not have a huge impact to get Steve Jobs to port Itunes over to linux, but hey you never know. There is an online petition beign signe here, go sign it what do you got to loose?
Anywho this brings up the question why isn’t Itunes supported for linux yet? Personally I think it would be benificial to make an Itunes version for linux because it could get more people into buying music from their music store. Who knows maybe it would cost more to have a linnux version developed but It would be great to get a native Linux version.
I have tried getting Itunes to work on Linux through wine, but it seems to run super slow. But that may just be my computer. Anyone else have luck with Itunes in wine?

My Experience with a Mac
My first experience with a mac started a while ago. Growing up I have always had one Windows computer and one Apple computer. It waspre os 9 my mac, and it was one ugly looking thing. The main computer me and my siblings used was always the PC, the mac was second thought and only used if someone else was already on the PC. Back then I didn’t really understand they were two different operating systems, I just thought they were two different computers and every computer was different….

Apple has been taking the computer industry by surprise, by advancing in looks, and ease of use. Apple has been able to capture the college crowd with its amazing Macbook Pro, but ow there is a new laptop on the market by Apple. The Macbook Air, which is visually stunning…
