How the Public Perceives Advertisements

I came across this interesting application MediaCurves.com, a product of HCD Research Inc, a marketing and communications research company. This product conducts national surveys online to obtain a common person’s view on advertisements, talk show appearances by political figures, andcontroversial statements by actors, actresses, political figures and sports personalities. The survey uses Critical Emotion tracker tool. The participants in the survey view a video of the popular or controversial event and move their mouse back and forth on a scale which for example may indicate the participant’s believability or agreement with the video.

How I was almost scammed on ebay through Paypal

I just sold my first item on ebay ever. Unfortunately, I was almost scammed out of a couple hundred dollars. Thankfully, I am pretty experienced with the Internet in general, and am pretty tech savvy. 
First off, most people wouldthink of being scammed when buying on ebay, but not about being scammed whensellingon ebay… is it even possible to be scammed on ebay whensellingan item? I will tell you it is and you must becareful, I was almost scammed of $400.00. Secondly make sure you know all the terms of service whensellingon ebay, cause they can actually, help protect and in my case did help me.

bux.to is Fraud (Sorry)

So like a little while back, well actually yesterday. I made a post about bux.to and how I would test to see if it was legit, and I was going to post about it as I went along….

Well aparently I didn’t research it well enought cause I was doing more research and found this post at Tech Crunch. So sorry all about my last post about it.

Trying a Paid to Click Website

It seems like most websites online about making money are full of crap and fake etc…I stumbled on One called Bux.to. I signed up and am going to give it a try and see If I can actually make any significant amount of money. Along the way I plan on reporting everything on here, the ups and the downs. IF it really works or if its a scam. I will post pictures of everything,g from me requesting payment, to me cashing out my check etc..

Here is how bux.to seems to work. You get paid 1 cent for every ad you click. You get about 10 ads per day, so thats 10 cents a day. When you click on an ad you have to wait 30 seconds before you can click on the next one. The real kicker is that every person you refer will earn you 1 cent per every ad they click. So basically if you get a decent amount of referrals you could make a decent amount of money that could keep you going.

It has a clean interface unlike a lot of make money online websites that I have seen. So it is pleasant to keep going back to click on ads. If you would like to help me out in testing this, please sign up as one of my referrals here.

Why I hate Paypal

Paypal is pretty much the internet standard for receiving and sending money online these days. Through earning money online in various ways from writing I finally earned enough money to get myself a Flickr Pro account, yay!!! Or so I thought…..

With an un-verified Paypal account you can not buy things…..This is kind of crazy. So then I thought I would send my money to a freind who could then gift me a flickr pro account. But again Paypal failed me because you can’t even send money with an un-varified Paypal account. So what exactly can you do with an un-varified Paypal account? The only thing you can do is recieve money….now whats the point in that if you can’t do anything with it?

So now your probably asking why not just verify your Paypal account? Well the college I will be attending will be giving me a special bank account and credit card. I dont want to sign up for a bank and credit card for only half a year or so….But I want my flickr account now!!!
